Washington Native Plant Society: Bluejay, Meadowlark and Woodpecker trails

This plant list represents the work of Washington Native Plant Society (WNPS) members Susan Ballinger and Ellen Kuhlmann. Its accuracy and completeness hasn't been verified by WNPS. It was created as a tool to enhance the enjoyment and study of native plants in this ecotone, an area that transitions between rocky balds, open shrub steppe dominated by antelope bitterbrush, and low montane forest of Ponderosa pine and Douglas fir.

What's in bloom during May?

This plant list was compiled and researched by Jan Sodt and Kim Des Rochers in memory of Mary Kiesau, who shared her love and knowledge of the natural world to many of us in Pine Forest and the Methow Valley.
